Recommended Age
Is a waiver required?

What is the recommended age?

We recommend ages 6 and up for our Mama Duck and Papa Duck packages.  Ages 7 and younger may need help from parent or guardian. We recommend ages 14 and up for the King packages which uses bows and arrows. We also recommend adults of all ages.

Is a waiver required to play?

Yes, a waiver is required to play. It must be filled out and signed by a parent or legal guardian. The waiver explains the risks associated with Duck n Dodge events. It explains the standard of conduct and the expectation to follow safety rules. We want to continue to provide fun activities, in a safe environment, while being protected from liability. The waiver is good for one year.

Where can I set up?

Duck n Dodge is Cache Valley's mobile blaster tag and archery tag arena serving from Smithfield to Hyrum. A surcharge may be required for cities outside this service area. We can set up at parks, school gyms, church gyms, rec centers, grassy fields, or in your yard. We do not set up on asphalt, driveways, rocky or stick covered areas. Some parks and buildings may require you to reserve or schedule the event.

How large of an area do I need?

For the best experience, Duck n Dodge recommends at least 2100 sq feet (35 x 60), a little smaller than a high school basket ball court, for a group of 16 and 1000 sq feet (20 x 50), about 6 parking lot spaces, for a group of 8.

How long should I reserve the area?

If you are scheduling/reserving a building or park, please allow 1 hour before the event for set up and 1 hour after the event for take down.

What is the weather policy?

Duck n Dodge will not set up outside in the following conditions:

  • Ground covered in water, mud, snow, ice

  • Lightning

  • Rain, snow, hail

  • Winds exceeding 20 mph

  • Temperatures below 40 degrees

What is the refund/cancellation policy?

  • If inclement weather causes the event to be canceled, we will reschedule at no additional charge.

  • If the event is cancelled 24 hours in advance, all charges will be refunded.

  • If the event is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to setup then charges will be refunded minus a $25 inconvenience fee and surcharge if applicable.

  • If event is cancelled after setup, event fees will not be refunded including any additional surcharge.

Is there a surcharge for events outside the service area?

Yes.  An additional charge is added for events outside of the Cache Valley service area (Smithfield to Hyrum). Please contact Duck n Dodge if you would like to book an event outside the service area.
